Christmas comes 1 weak early as cash machine hands out free money

Marry Christmas,is what this cash point should have said as it dispensed free money on Wednesday night.

A cash machine decided to get in the festive time by handing lucky users double the money they asked for in Fallowfield, the student capital of Manchester.

Tesco Bank have told the error was caused by a glitch, and they’re currently assessing how much money they lost.

Their spokesman Mark Thomas told the machine no longer has any cash in it, obviously, adding:

We are putting right the error made by the cash machine and will have it up and running normally again.
